It’s been a while since I’ve shared my thrifting finds. Rest assured, I have been thrifting. In fact, I found two clocks and a medium sized globe just yesterday. I have two larger vintage globes and have been searching for smaller ones to add to the family. I was really excited about this guy. I’ve also been buying a lot of clocks and coincidentally think think vintage clocks may be the new vintage cameras. The bottom clock has has cities from all over the world listed on its face and a rotatable disc that assigns time differences.
This fine grouping features some finds from the past few months. My grandma (grammy Nancy) has a little brass mouse just like this that I’ve always loved so I couldn’t pass it up. And since I’ve been keeping an eye out for all things brass, I had to buy this little piece with yellow flowers and brass leaves sprouting out of drift wood. The shape and pattern on the tea pot were too good to leave behind. I never really drink tea, much less tea from a pot, but I’ve told myself I’ll use the thing as a vase or something someday.
And then, of course, there are the poodles. Glorious mother poodle and her offspring are snooty and elegant. I think the glued on fur is both disgusting and fantastic. Take a minute to fully enjoy.
