Today I picked up this little cutie, a Sabre 620 plastic camera.
I have a small and specific vintage Pyrex collection, mostly promotional patterns, and this Dandelion/Duet divided dish was recently added to my list of necessary additions. When I saw it out of the corner of my eye hiding on a dark shelf, I stammered, “no effing way” (I’m a lady) under my breath. Although they look brown or black, the dandelions are gold leaf. The lid is missing but I’m not worried about it.
I’m not a huge Crazy Daisy or Spring Blossom fan but this casserole was in really great shape with only a small chip on the underside of the lid. It’s exciting to find a piece this large with a matching lid for a good price. I had to crawl on the floor and move one thousand breakable things to get to it so I feel like I earned it. Some old men walked by and asked if there was anything good where I was elegantly rummaging and I mumbled, “There was some good Pyrex BUT I GOT IT ALL.” and then stood up and scurried away. I embarrass myself.

Funny story: That casserole dish…I own that exact one.
You have the Spring Blossom dish, Timmy? Are you a secret Pyrex collector? Big on the olive green stuff I bet.
