Anniversary

This weekend, Andy and I celebrated our ninth year together.

Nine years is a lot of years. I remember being impressed after we’d been together for just nine months, I even posted something witty about it on my LiveJournal. It wasn’t that I couldn’t believe we’d made it that long but that nine months could go by so fast. These nine years have gone by just as fast as those first few months. It’s not because everything has been perfect or that either of us is perfect, it hasn’t and neither of us is. It’s because we’ve learned to forgive each other, to move forward, to always think of each other, and to never stop trying to make each other happy.

Andy is the kindest, gentlest, and most patient person I know and I love him with all my heart. And he’s so handsome, too. I am one lucky lady.
